Bird Kingdom Print Ad

Hand-drawn by yours truly using Sketchbook Pro. 
The main idea was to be creative and try to combine different concepts. 

The inspiration for the design came from Bird Kingdom’s website where there’s a photo of a woman with lorikeets perched on her arms and head. I wanted to show the lorikeet interactions in an artistic way.

I also wanted to convey the beauty and magic of Bird Kingdom by creating this colourful illustration. When you’re inside the aviary, it feels like you’re in a different world. A world full of birds that are all around you and constantly moving and hiding and swooshing by. I believe this ad portrays this almost dream-like atmosphere.
